chocolatier/pastry chef
As a Chocolatier / Pastry Chef you will have lots of responsibilities but also a chance to show your creativity skills. Previous experience in or as a chocolatier, chocolate maker, candy maker, dessert chef, or other culinary professional position. Culinary school experience is preferred, but most importantly, we're looking for a demonstrated passion for the culinary arts. Our team of professional experts will offer a full and complete training.

- Produce the complete range of products we offer, manage our production flow and inventory control
- Manage inventory and ordering of raw materials and finished goods
- Independent problem solving skills are very important, must think like an owner.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized work environment
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and an above-average ability to multitask
- Creating chocolate showpieces and pralines
- Artisan chocolate making, tempering, making ganaches, caramels and creating new fillings for chocolate confections.
- Working with cocoa butter and have the ability to create coloured chocolate creations (e.g Chocolate Bonbons)
- Creating unique recipes for pastry/confectionery creations.
- Working and following Choco King's recipes
- Organising and preparing orders
- Motivation to develop new procedures, recipes and improve work flow productivity
